Melissa and Francois didn’t let a little rain stop their elegant peach and green, romantic lantern-filled, and cream bloom-bursting parade! And with amazing design and florals from Holiday House, who would mind being inside a little longer? Coastal Shots saved the day with fun rain alternatives like these clear umbrellas that we are obsessed with. With their ceremony translated in French for the groom’s family, the bride’s petal-kissed walk to the alter with her daughter, and a wall of glowing lanterns to set the mood, their guests didn’t stand a chance to keep dry-eyed during their vows. The vows included the very sweet touch of including promises to the groom’s two daughters as a new mother, as well as to the bride’s daughter as a new father, truly incorporating their families into a single unit. A glowing sunset rounded the night out after the short rainfall, with a very-hard-to-resist whoopie pie bar for take home treats. Here’s a look at their wedding in our Soundside Pavilion. Enjoy 🙂
