We just wrapped an amazing July 4th weekend! A full house meant so many fun activities going on here at Sanderling, so we had to share a few with you. The Town of Duck held their annual July 4th parade that supplied a host of fun events and sights to see, as well as the daily activities at the resort. With the property dressed to the nines in it’s best patriotic wear, Sanderling was a gorgeous place to be for the holiday.
One of the most fun events held in Duck every year? The 4th of July Parade! This year was the Town of Duck’s 11th annual celebration of our Nation’s independence. We thought this car carrying our Town mayor was pretty perfect for a summer day reflecting the bright red of our flag.
Our Culinary department had an exceptional weekend as well- how amazing do these dishes look? The left is a scallop ceviche, a recent addition to our catering menus where it resides as an option for hors d’oeurves. The right is our Kimball’s Kitchen Surf & Turf spin that was added to our menu this season created by Chef Botkin.
Beach braiding has begun! We love the effortless, beachy styles that have been walking around property since we started this fun activity. Saturdays at the Resort Pool, you can find our braiding stylist to create a beach braided style just for you.
It wouldn’t be a July 4th weekend without a Sanderling wedding, of course! Brett & Kelsey had such an amazing day to kick off their holiday weekend with their family and friends. Congratulations!
