A spectacular August afternoon was in store for Doug and Jennifer’s special day. It was intimate wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family. It seemed fitting that while all their friends and family were visiting the Outer Banks for Jennifer’s parents’ 50th anniversary, they tied the knot! It was a week of celebrating many past and future years of love and laughter for the two couples! While Jennifer and Doug both had two children of their own, they chose to include a sand ceremony to symbolize the joining of their two families as one. The reception was held outside on the Event House Deck. A rustic look with a row of farm tables, mix-matched wooden chairs, and dahlias delight! A beautiful mix of pinks, reds, and oranges throughout. They danced the night away all while enjoying our special, “Sassy S’mores” where they were able to roast their own s’mores at the firepit included in their reception space. Fun fact: While Jennifer was wedding dress shopping, she came across two breathtaking dresses. Not being able to narrow it down to one, she wore a gorgeously flowing dress for the ceremony and pictures. Later in the evening, she switched it up to a stunning, lace dress to dance away the evening with her husband, Doug. Nothing can come close to the love they share with each other and their four kids. It shows through in each and every one of their photos captured by Sarah D’Ambra Photography.
