As we prepare for the reopening of our fine dining restaurant, Kimball’s Kitchen, we are happy to introduce our Chef de Cuisine, Ronald Smith. Chef Ron has been cooking since he was 21 years old and attended Johnson and Wales University for Culinary Arts in Norfolk, Virginia. He gained culinary experience through a variety of top notch restaurants including Executive Sous Chef at The Boar’s Head Resort, Chef de Partie at the five star and five diamond restaurant The Cloister, and Chef de Cuisine at Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
Kimball’s Kitchen is Sanderling’s four diamond restaurant and is a premier seafood and steak driven fine dining restaurant bringing seasonal, local, and natural foods to the table in the Outer Banks. 90% of our products come from within a 100 mile radius of the property. Chef Ron is enthusiastic about the new spring menu him and his team have customized for this season! The menu emphasizes on a variety of local seafood and prime beef.
