Are you planning a wedding? Well you’re in luck! We’re sharing with you the hottest trends we’ve seen this year and new up & coming ones that will set your wedding apart from the rest! While classic style is still a go to, these trends are happening NOW. And they’re already being used by elite event planners and brides alike making them a possible go-to for your wedding right now!

Wedding Dresses

All Shapes and Sizes – These are all the rage! A dress with a little bit of flare to it. In this case, Hayley Paige incorporates geometric patterns (this time not floral or lace!) into her fabrics giving the dress a modern twist. Plus the back of the dress is just jaw-dropping! A little bit of Moroccan inspired beading that still allows for an open back feel! Can this trend please continue?

Dare to be Different  – It’s so fun to see unique ensembles!  And we think this Isla Jumpsuit from BHLDN will be a showstopper! Guests won’t see it coming and that’s what we love about it. Jumpsuits are for the brides that dare to be different! Even if it is a little too non-traditional for you, consider wearing it to your rehearsal dinner or bridal shower!

Two is Better than One- If you’re a bride that’s looking to break tradition, the 2 piece gown is for you! We’re loving this Yeo dress by Grace Loves Lace and how simple and elegant it looks, while still being modest! Some designers even allow you to mix and match the tops and bottoms to create a look unique to you. Plus imagine how light weight the dress will feel on the beach! We think this trend is here to stay for awhile.

Shake & Shimmy- This has already been a trend since 2016 but it’s still going strong! Plus designers are finding unique ways to use the fringe instead of covering the entire dress from head to toe. We love one of Elihav Sasson’s dresses from the vintage jewllery collection! There’s just a right amount of fringe for it to be trendy, elegant, and still simple.

It’s All About the Sleeve-  If you’re looking for a showstopper, the bell sleeve trend has you covered! It gives the dress  somewhat bohemian and Moroccan vibes which can be great for more of a casual atmosphere you might be going for. Having sleeves on your dress also works better for the fall or winter season so that you’re not feeling too hot and sweaty in your dress all day. This bell sleeve dress by Pnina Tornai definitely makes a statement!

Ring Around the Roses– These arrangements are something you never even knew you needed! The traditional bouquet is being replaced with these hoop bouquets adorned with greenery and beautiful blooms. To still coordinate with your own bouquet, try using blooms that appear in your own spray. The hoops above are trends recognized by Martha Stewart Weddings and Bridezilla Events Co. and we are all about them!

Life is a Party, Dress Like It- It looks like this trend is going strong! Set your bridesmaids apart from the rest by giving them a floral or patterned dress. Show Me Your Mumu has so many options that we think you’ll love! They are a playful take on the ever classic dress. And we think they pair perfectly with floral crowns (or the bouquet hoops!). The off-the-shoulder dresses give off more coastal vibes, but these dresses are versatile enough to look beautiful at a garden ceremony as well!

Love is in the Hair – So you want something in your hair, but you don’t want the classic jewels or flowers. Our suggestion is raw crystal quartz! There’s something so modern and edgy about the crystals that we love. We suggest searching Etsy since most of these pieces will need to be made by hand. Both TessaKim and TheFawnAndTheSparrow Etsy pages have a huge assortment to choose from making the look you’re going for very achievable!

Will You Marry Me?- Although stackable rings have been in style recently, the trend is new for engagement rings! Couples are looking to stray from tradition by choosing unique stones other than diamonds and stacking several bands around the main stone to create this trendy yet beautiful look! Anna Sheffield has created some amazing suites that you’ll want to check out! It’s a look you’ll want to pursue if you’re thinking outside of the box.
