Day One: Duck
Breakfast
Lifesaving Station– Kick off this food lover’s paradise with a trip to some of the best breakfast in Duck!
What to get: The Surfer’s Omelet with three eggs, tomato, shrimp, avocado, mushrooms, goat cheese, lime creme, pico de gallo, micro greens, white corn grits or home fries. Yum
Lunch
Coastal Cravings– Being located so close to The Town of Duck’s shops, eating here is both convenient and yummy!
What to get: The Ultimate Brie.L.T is guaranteed to melt in your mouth!
Dinner
Kimball’s Kitchen– If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, try Sanderling’s fine dining restaurant and catch a beautiful sunset while you’re at it!
What to get: the Kimball’s Angus Tenderloin Tartar & Friend Oysters appetizer, followed by the Shrimp and Lobster Pasta. Pairs perfectly with the Reverdy Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc or the Frank Family Napa Valley Cabernet.
*Kimball’s Kitchen is the only place on the Outer Banks serving Certified Angus Beef!
Day Two: Corolla
Breakfast
First Light Breakfast & Burgers- Rise and shine! First Light is the perfect stop for both the sweet and savory food-lovers.
What to get: Crab Benny. Two of Chef Maher’s famous cajun style crab cakes served on an oversized english muffin, topped with poached eggs and covered in hollandaise sauce. Is there a better way to start the day?
Lunch
Fat Crabs– For both seafood and North Carolina barbecue lovers, this is the place for you!
What to get: Try their ‘Basket o’ Hushpuppies’ followed by their NC Pork BBQ for some authentic barbecue. You won’t want this meal to end!
Dinner
North Banks- Centered in Corolla’s shopping center, Timbuck Too, this is the perfect location for a mouth-watering dinner.
What to get: The Colossal Lump Crab Grenades. All of the best flavors like Wasabi Aioli, pickled ginger, and Asian slaw paired with the yummiest tempura battered giant lumps of crabmeat in one tasty starter. This is a must!
Day Three: Southern Beaches
Breakfast
Chili Pepper’s Coastal Grill– What’s most fabulous about brunch here? Their DIY Bloody Mary bar.
What to get: Choose from any of their yummy omelets!
Lunch
Blue Moon Beach Grill– This stop is one you really don’t want to miss. A coastal kitchen with gourmet menus.
What to get: A real crowd-pleaser, try the “Shrimp Not A Burger” with Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes.
Dinner
Josephine’s Sicilian Kitchen– Another local favorite, you may not know whether you are in the Outer Banks or Italy when you’re dining here.
What to get: This menu changes weekly but you can never go wrong with their handmade pastas!
*Stop at Trio’s Wine Bar for an amazing selection of wines by the glass with artisanal cheeses.
